About the Role

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead on financial planning and analysis across a diverse operational portfolio, including both ongoing service delivery and capital investment projects. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across operational and capital programmes.
- Deliver high-quality financial analysis to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure robust reporting and variance analysis.
- Support the development of business cases and financial models for new initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
- Present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Support the wider finance team and deputise for senior colleagues when required.
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
- Strong experience in a finance business partnering or FP&A role within a complex organisation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working on capital projects or long-term investment programmes is desirable but not essential.
