Your new role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction team, taking responsibility for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for complex projects. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves analysing drawings and specifications, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, assessing project risks, and providing value engineering options. You will collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure budgets and timelines are aligned, while keeping up-to-date with market trends, material costs, and industry standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as an Estimator within the construction or fit-out sector, ideally at senior level. You will demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with strong communication and negotiation skills. A sound knowledge of UK building regulations and industry best practices will be key to your success.
