Your new role

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of site operations, ensuring works are set out accurately, delivered safely, and meet stringent quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking day‑to‑day setting out with autonomy

• Mentoring and developing Junior Engineers

• Managing site sample and performance testing, maintaining accurate records

• Producing RAMS and completing hazard/risk assessments

• Managing site service plans and issuing permits

• Supporting the QS/Project Manager with information for records and claims

• Monitoring and coordinating temporary works

• Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

• Producing and maintaining quality documentation including ITPs, diaries and inspection reports
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a confident communicator with a strong background working for a main contractor on heavy civils projects.

You should have:

• Proven experience as an Engineer/Senior Engineer

• Strong capability in quality records, reporting and design coordination

• CSCS card and a minimum HND in Civil Engineering (degree desirable)

• Ideally SMSTS, First Aid and experience with temporary works

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northern Region

• Geotechnical experience is an advantage
