Amazing opportunity for a highly regarded North West consultancy.
I am looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of innovative building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical design from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in shaping sustainable, high-performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for building services projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors.
- Produce detailed specifications, drawings, and calculations using industry-standard tools (e.g., Amtech, Revit, AutoCAD).
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, client requirements, and best practice standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships effectively.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and graduates.
- Contribute to energy efficiency and low-carbon strategies within project designs.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in building services' consultancy.
- Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards) with IET or CIBSE.
- Strong technical knowledge of LV/HV systems, lighting design, and sustainable technologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
