Senior Nursery Educator job in Storrington - Level 2/3 Required

Job Title – Senior Educator - Level 2/3 Qualification
Job Type – Permanent
Location – Storrington
Hours – 40 hour week or 'Flexi Week', working 36/40 hours over 4 days
Salary - £14 - £14.90 per hour

Your new role
As a valued member of our setting, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development through play-based learning. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver a rich and stimulating curriculum that reflects the latest thinking in early years' education, while building strong relationships with children and their families. Our nursery is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and creativity. We draw inspiration from Forest School principles and educational philosophies such as Reggio Emilia, High Scope, and Montessori, while integrating modern approaches including STEM and emotional wellbeing. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that values professional development, collaboration, and the joy of learning.

  • Inspiring curiosity, discovery, and creativity to nurture each child’s growth and learning journey.
  • Working collaboratively with a passionate team to develop our nursery into an engaging and inspiring space.
  • Fostering meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues to build a welcoming and inclusive community.
  • Contributing to the realisation of our vision for exceptional early years' education.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A recognised qualification in Early Years Childcare at Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
  • Practical experience working in an early year setting
  • A sound understanding of key legislation including the EYFS framework, SEN guidance, and safeguarding procedures
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
  • The ability to build strong, supportive, and professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
