The Role
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge crushing and screening machinery. You’ll lead design projects from concept through to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and market-leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of crushing and screening equipment using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or Creo)
- Manage design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Liaise with manufacturing, procurement, and service departments to ensure design feasibility and support product lifecycle
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation testing
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment design, ideally within crushing and screening or materials handling
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, structural, and fabrication principles
- Excellent communication and project management skills
