We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service & Credit Administrator to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting daily operations, resolving customer enquiries, and ensuring business objectives are met through efficient service delivery and accurate administration.
Your new role
Reporting in to the Group Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for,
- Log and manage cases on the CRM system, including customer service issues, credit claims, rebates, and deviations.
- Provide responsive support via the Customer Service Helpdesk, ensuring requests are handled promptly in line with KPIs.
- Process authorised credit and debit requests, maintaining accurate records.
- Issue billings and assist with invoicing processes.
- Manage RMA (Return Material Authorisation) returns and refusals.
- Prepare and circulate regular reports.
- Carry out daily cash postings, including bank lodgements.
- Maintain and upload documentation to customer portals.
- Undertake general administration duties such as correspondence, emailing, and word processing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a similar role within a credit function.
- 2–3 years’ recent experience in an administrative role.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
