A committed and growing consultancy that provides quantity surveying, project management and CDM consultancy services. This consultancy specialises in the retail, commercial/office, leisure, and residential sectors but also has extensive experience of many other project types.

Your new role

As a Senior CDM Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering Principal Designer and Client Advisor services. You will be working on an exciting range of projects ranging from 1 month to 4+ years in duration. The successful candidate will mostly be fulfilling the duties of a CDM Principal Designer appointed by the Client as well as additional Client CDM duties when required. Projects will typically be within London and the Southeast, but sometimes further afield. This is a client‑facing role where your communication skills and ability to manage varied workloads will shine. You will have a great chance for progression and have professional investment with qualifications, accreditations and training.

Key responsibilities:
  • Act as Principal Designer under CDM Regulations 2015, ensuring compliance and best practice across projects.
  • Provide expert CDM and health & safety advice to clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Undertake site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, producing clear and practical reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, supporting them through all project stages.
  • Contribute to the growth of the consultancy by mentoring junior staff and sharing expertise

What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
  • Degree level qualification
  • Member of IOSH, IIRSM or APS (IMaPS / CMaPS).
  • Minimum 5 years in a consultancy environment, ideally within relevant sectors.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive, flexible, resilient, and well presented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, motivated, and able to meet deadlines
