Ready to take ownership of a high‑impact procurement function within a fast‑growing manufacturing business? This is a standout job for an experienced Buyer or Supply Chain professional to lead sourcing activity, optimise supplier performance, and shape a high‑performing procurement team.

Your new role

You’ll drive all sourcing activity, strengthen supplier relationships, and secure a resilient supply chain. You’ll negotiate critical agreements, manage supplier performance, and deliver real commercial value across direct spend. Regular supplier visits and cross‑functional collaboration sit at the heart of this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing, negotiations and supplier selection

  • Assess, develop and rationalise the supplier base

  • Drive cost‑down initiatives and supply chain optimisation

  • Manage supplier performance, compliance and site assessments

  • Support stock planning, quality investigations and audits

  • Deliver procurement reporting and insights for leadership

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven procurement experience in manufacturing

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to influence, challenge and drive improvement

  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
