You’ll be joining a large, well‑established UK organisation operating at scale across multiple locations. Known for its strong values, collaborative culture and commitment to continuous improvement, the business is undergoing an exciting procurement transformation focused on driving value, resilience and sustainability across its supply chain. This is an environment where procurement is genuinely valued as a strategic partner to the wider organisation.

Your new role

As Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role within a centralised procurement function, reporting into senior procurement leadership and providing expert commercial support across Soft FM, small Capex and Business Services categories.

You’ll take ownership of strategically important spend areas including operational services, high‑volume goods and key business services, ensuring value for money through robust sourcing strategies, competitive tendering and effective supplier relationship management.

Key elements of the role include:

• Developing and delivering category plans aligned to a wider procurement transformation strategy
• Managing end‑to‑end sourcing activity including tenders, RFQs and commercial negotiations
• Acting as a trusted procurement partner to operational, estates and leadership stakeholders
• Managing and optimising major supplier contracts and commercial agreements
• Driving supplier performance, innovation and long‑term supply chain resilience
• Supporting ESG objectives through sustainable and responsible procurement practices
• Bringing strong market insight to enable continuous improvement and innovation

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience within a procurement or supply chain role, ideally covering Soft FM or other indirect categories
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver value beyond cost savings
• Experience of category management, supplier relationship management and contract management
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with a curious and solutions‑focused approach
• The ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines and take accountability for outcomes
• A collaborative, customer‑focused mindset with a genuine desire to learn and develop

What you’ll get in return

• A salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience
• Hybrid working in brand-new central Bristol offices, with the expectations to be in office 3 days per week
• 25 days annual leave, annual bonus, retail discounts, learning and development support
