Your new company
This community-focused organisation based in the Midlands is undertaking significant transformation to modernise its operations and enhance the experience it delivers to its customers and stakeholders. With a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to continuous improvement, it’s building internal capability to support a wide range of transformation programmes across people, processes, and technology. As part of this investment, a new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to take ownership of the business analysis function and play a key role in shaping the future of change delivery.

Your new role
In this role, you’ll lead a team of analysts and help define the organisation’s approach to business analysis. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure that insight-driven analysis supports effective decision-making and successful delivery. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and mentoring a team of business analysts, embedding consistent methodologies and fostering a collaborative working culture
  • Partnering with stakeholders to explore challenges, define opportunities, and guide decision-making through robust analysis
  • Overseeing resource planning and allocation to ensure effective support across multiple change initiatives
  • Leading reviews of operational processes and customer journeys, producing high-quality documentation and actionable insights
  • Supporting value-based assessments and ensuring recommendations are grounded in evidence and aligned with organisational goals
  • Coordinating business-led testing activities to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and deliver measurable benefits

What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring a blend of leadership, analytical expertise, and stakeholder engagement, supported by experience of leading teams, and a strong track record of delivering analysis in agile or traditional environments. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a range of audiences. You will be proficient in techniques such as journey mapping, requirements engineering, benefits modelling, and impact assessment, and you will be a proactive individual with the ability to remain resilient under pressure, offering a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You will have strong organisational skills, be able to manage competing priorities whilst supporting team development and will ideally hold a Business Analysis qualification.

What you'll get in return
You’ll be part of an organisation that places people at the heart of its mission. In addition to a fulfilling role, you’ll benefit from a competitive salary package, generous annual leave, flexible hybrid working arrangements, enhanced pension contributions, access to health and wellbeing support and the opportunity for professional development and career growth opportunities.
