Senior Building Surveyor opportunity

Your new company

Exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary construction consultancy who are renowned for delivering high-quality surveying and project management services across the UK. With a strong portfolio of clients in the education sector - from primary schools to universities - the organisation is looking to grow their project management division by appointing a Senior Building Surveyor to lead and support a range of exciting education projects.

Your new role

As the Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering surveying services across a variety of education-focused projects. You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards. As part of the role, you will lead and manage projects including producing condition surveys, feasibility studies, specification writing and producing detailed reports. You will provide expert advice on building regulations and sustainability and support business development initiatives and contribute to bids and proposals.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you should be MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership) and have proven experience as a Building Surveyor working within the education sector. Strong technical knowledge of construction, building pathology and project delivery is essential. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
