Your new company
Your new role
As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver projects across pricing, reserving, and risk & capital—spanning the London/Lloyd’s market, global reinsurance, and UK/European personal & commercial lines.
You’ll play a key leadership role by advising clients on areas such as solvency, capital, risk, M&A, organisational transformation and financial modelling, while leading multidisciplinary actuarial projects and often acting as the primary client contact. You’ll help shape and enhance pricing models, tools and frameworks, contribute to the strategic growth and development of the actuarial practice, and support the progression of junior team members through coaching, mentoring and training.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, innovation and stretching both your technical and commercial capabilities, bringing a strong background in general insurance pricing and experience leading actuarial or multidisciplinary projects to successful, timely delivery. You'll either be a qualified actuary or by experience (qualification isn't essential).
You should be comfortable with widely used pricing techniques, relevant regulatory considerations, and tools such as HX, Tyche, Rulebook, Earnix, Akur8, Emblem, Radar, Python or R. The ability to communicate complex concepts simply to non‑technical stakeholders is essential, alongside strong commercial awareness and an interest in emerging trends across the GI market. Experience in specialist areas such as trade credit, cyber or catastrophe modelling is also a valuable bonus.
What you'll get in return
This organisation provides a competitive base salary up to £160k DoE, and a flexible and well-rounded benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and recognise your contribution, including hybrid working (typically three days in the office or on client site and two from home), visa sponsorship (if required), private medical cover with 24/7 virtual GP access, generous volunteering and development opportunities, and a collaborative, growth‑focused culture that encourages innovation.
