Senior Accounts Assistant
Your new company
Your new company is an independent accountancy firm who have a number of offices across Scotland. This is one of Scotland's largest independent accountancy firms who boast an exciting, varied client base across a number of industries ranging from sole-traders up to multinational corporations. Your new role
The key duties of the role include:
- Managing a varied client portfolio across a range of industries and sectors
- Reviewing all work within agreed timescales
- Coaching more junior staff members day-to-day
- Supporting managers and partners where necessary
- Attend in person and online client meetings
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately
- Preparing clients annual and management accounts
- Assist in managing firm resources
What you need to succeed?
The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role in practice, hold a professional qualification be that ICAS or ACCA or be qualified by experience and be comfortable overseeing a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have experience of preparing annual and management accounts and possess a strong knowledge of systems such as Sage, Xero and other related software.
