Senior Accounting Coordinator

You will be responsible as a lead coordinator for accounts payable, travel and entertainment, disbursements banking, document imaging, and vendor and internal customer relationship functions within a self-directed work team. These are global responsibilities supporting companies across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Latin America.

Additional responsibilities include:

Contractual data acquisition cost calculations

Payments and accruals

Account reconciliation

Supporting the Director of Accounts Payable in collaboration with the technical team to automate and streamline processes and onboard new companies

Essential Functions:

Lead coordination of pre-audit, posting, payment, disbursements banking, and imaging of vendor invoices and employee travel and entertainment expense reports

Process inputs from multiple channels, including fax, Excel uploads, automated external vendor feeds, and internet systems

Ensure accurate and timely processing across multiple countries within a self-directed work team

Maintain the vendor master database for transactional processing and year-end tax reporting

Administer Data Supplier contractual cost calculations, payments, accruals, and account reconciliation processes

Respond to vendor and internal associate inquiries at all levels

Verify, organize, and file accounts payable transaction reports

Collaborate closely with the Director of AP and technical team to:

Automate and streamline processes

Maintain SAP accounts payable system functionality and controls

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree (required)

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience (required)

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of:

SAP Accounts Payable Financial System

Microsoft Office

Imaging systems

Banking disbursement systems

Core Competencies:

Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills

Ability to work in a self-directed team environment

Capability to independently manage priorities

Experience supporting leadership with:

Implementation of new initiatives

Allocation of team responsibilities
