Senior Accountant – Belfast - £40000 - £45000 per annum

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Accountant due to the growth of the organisation. This is an organisation with a first-class reputation and is market leading in their field. Our long-established and respected client has demonstrated consistent growth.

Your new role

As the Senior Accountant, you will support the group of companies and the wider business. You will work with the wider team to deliver the diverse range of accounting processes to impact directly on the business. Your role will include, but will not be exclusive to, the following:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies
• Delivery of the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows
• Preparation of consolidated accounts across multiple companies
• You will assist with the budget process, financial planning and forecasting within the various businesses.
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts to include audit file and liaising with external auditors.
• Assisting in the preparation of the monthly group reporting pack.
• Review of VAT and Corporation Tax returns ensures compliance for various group companies.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant. Our client can accept candidates recently qualified, through to a few years post-qualified and will develop the job and salary package to your experience. You will be able to demonstrate good technical accounting experience.
