About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SENDCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join a school on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading and coordinating SEND provision, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the development and delivery of SEND provision across the school
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupils with additional needs
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice in SEND
- Provide guidance and training to staff to enhance inclusive teaching
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience in a SENDCo or SEN leadership role
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
