Are you a caring and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to join a range of supportive and inclusive schools in Paignton for the new academic year.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with a range of needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
- Support pupils with SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Opportunities available across primary and secondary settings

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
