SEND Teacher Job in Knowsley

Location: Knowsley
Contract: January – July 2026 (6 months)
Salary: £120 – £170 per day (initial), rising to £169 – £232 per day post-AWR Type: Full-Time, potential for Temp-to-Perm

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to work with primary-aged children in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in a supportive environment. The role involves delivering tailored learning experiences to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with support staff and external professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews.

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with SEND pupils.
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
