Your new role
You will be working alongside the class teacher and exclusively supporting a 1:1 child who has communication and interaction, SEMH and physical and sensory needs. You will be expected to adapt resources to support the pupil to ensure that they reach their potential in all subjects and liaise with the SENCO and other professionals regarding educational health plans and the pupil’s progress. You need to be caring, nurturing, patient and calm to successfully support the child. This role is to start in November and is long term.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to hold relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications to support children in a primary school, have experience with working with children who have SEND, be adaptable to support the child’s needs and have effective behaviour management.

You will also be a good team player, have a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.

What you'll get in return
Here at Hays we offer several benefits:
You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience. You will accrue holiday pay with the option to take it at any point of the year. You will receive free, up-to-date safeguarding training. You will also have a consultant available to you who will support you throughout your role.
