Role-SEND Teaching Assistant – Resource Hub
Location – Birmingham
Salary - £85 to £95 a day
Contract Type – Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM , Temporary long term
Start- ASAP

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join the Resource Hub team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in a nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and making a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs.
•Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programmes.
•Work closely with the Resource Hub team to implement EHCP targets.
•Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
•Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
•Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
•Monitor and record student progress, contributing to review meetings.

Requirements:
•Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
•Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learners.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
•A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
•All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
