About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of pupils by ensuring they have access to a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum.
As SENCO, you will play a key role in shaping the learning journey for children with SEND, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to deliver outstanding support and provision.

You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Leading the identification of SEND needs and coordinating tailored interventions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of support strategies across the school.
  • Supporting staff with curriculum development and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Liaising with parents, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Managing assessment, reporting, and performance tracking for SEND pupils.
  • Contributing to staff development and the school’s strategic planning.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in SEND provision.
  • NASENCO qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting pupils and staff.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead inclusive practice across the school.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
