Salary: £40,266 – £51,788 (MPS Inner London) + £2,000 Harris Allowance + SEN Allowance

Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park is seeking to appoint an exceptional and experienced qualified teacher to join their leadership team as SENCO. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping inclusive education and driving progress for pupils with additional needs in a vibrant, diverse school community.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and the National Award for SEN Coordination, with a proven track record of leadership and pupil progress. You will bring expertise in safeguarding, data analysis, and SEND provision, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute strategically to the Academy Improvement Plan and lead intervention teaching tailored to individual pupil needs.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage SEND provision across the academy
•Deliver high-quality intervention teaching based on detailed pupil assessments
•Support and guide staff to maintain strong SEND practice
•Analyse data to inform whole-school planning and resource allocation
•Contribute to school self-evaluation and strategic development
•Promote academy values and lead by example
Candidate Requirements:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•National Award for SEN Coordination
•Evidence of continued professional development with measurable impact
•Experience in school leadership and achieving outstanding pupil progress
•Strong knowledge of safeguarding and SEND legislation
•Ability to lead teams and collaborate across the school
