Your new role

  • Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning strategies.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional/behavioural challenges.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting).
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What you'll get in return

  • A welcoming and inclusive school community.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
