SEN Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist setting supporting pupils with Generic Learning Difficulties (GLD). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including GLD.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Implement strategies to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Promote independence and inclusion in the classroom.
- Support with personal care where required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a SEN support role.
- Knowledge of SEN, including Generic Learning Difficulties, Autism, and Speech & Language needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
