Hays Education are working closely with a range of SEN schools and mainstream schools with specialist SEN provisions across Wigan. We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team to meet growing demand.

Your new role

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) is desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
