Your New Role
As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support, both one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and develop essential life skills. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational or care setting
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learning and behaviour
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable but not essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Hays
