SEN Teaching Assistant
We are working with a secondary school in Solihull who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to carry out a long-term position.
- The role is to start in September 2026 instance will run till Christmas but could extend into the spring term of 2027.
- Within the school you will be working with a pupil who has an ECHP related to anxiety and mental wellbeing.
- The role will entail providing consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day and across all lessons.
- Supporting the student's emotional regulation and engagement with learning.
- Facilitating movement breaks and using proactive strategies to help the student remain regulated.
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the student and engaging with them through sporting activities.
- The school is looking for someone who is calm, patient, proactive, and experienced in supporting children with additional needs, particularly ADHD.
- Previous experience working in a school or alternative provision would be highly desirable.
