Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant – Daily Supply Work in a Supportive Specialist Setting

Are you a caring and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible, day-to-day work in a specialist educational environment? We’re seeking dedicated individuals to support pupils with a range of complex needs in a warm, well-resourced school setting.

Role Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse special educational needs.
Assist teaching staff in delivering structured and engaging lessons.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Adapt quickly to different classroom routines and pupil requirements.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs).
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs.
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
