We’re looking for caring, motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and supportive schools across the Northampton area. Your New Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a variety of needs including:
  • Autism (ASC)
  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Learning difficulties
  • Physical or sensory needs
  • Social and emotional needs
Your responsibilities may include one‑to‑one support, small‑group work, adapting learning materials, and helping pupils access a full curriculum. Every day will be different, and your support will be vital in helping young people build confidence, independence and resilience.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
We are looking for individuals who:
  • Enjoy working with children and young people with diverse needs
  • Are patient, resilient and enthusiastic.
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with students and staff
  • Are committed to promoting inclusion and supporting student progress.
    Experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential—a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Desirable Experience / Qualifications
  • GCSE/O Level or equivalent
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable)
  • A valid driving licence due to school locations
