SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (30 hours)(1:1 Support for Complex Needs)
Location: L15 area
Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Short term contract
We are working closely with an L15 postcode based school to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a meaningful impact.
About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a child with complex needs
The role involves working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support
You’ll help the child access learning, regulate emotions, and engage positively with their environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with complex SEN in a school or care setting.
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
A relevant qualification
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
