Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Pay: £100 per day

Job Description
Hays Education are working with a mainstream school based in Aigburth who are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis.
The role will involve:

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a pupil with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
• Support the pupil to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement targets from the EHCP, IEP, or support plan
• Adapt learning activities, resources, and teaching approaches to meet the pupil’s individual needs
• Support communication, language development, and social interaction
• Promote emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and positive behaviour
• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning

Previous Experience Required
• Previous experience working with children with SEN in mainstream or specialist schools
