Are you looking for a fulfilling role in special education? Hays Education is recruiting for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a highly respected special needs primary school in Salford. This position starts in September and is offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include classroom support, one-to-one interventions, and assisting with sensory and therapeutic activities. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. You will support pupils aged 2–11 with a range of complex needs, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Severe and Moderate Learning Difficulties (SLD/MLD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Physical disabilities
