• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties).
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Support pupils in developing social and communication skills.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (in school or care settings).
• A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) are desirable but not essential.
