Are you a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A large and inclusive primary school in BD2, Bradford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

About the Role:
This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment. You’ll work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and provide one-to-one or small group support.

Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children for at least 20 days in the last two years.
  • Have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or other learning needs.
  • If lacking the above, has experience in a field with transferable skills eg) in the care industry.
  • Be empathetic, adaptable, and confident in managing a range of needs.
  • Be able to build trusting relationships and promote independence.
  • Have good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure consistent support.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
