Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Bradford primary school? Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties?

We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bradford that is seeking a dedicated SEN-trained Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
  • Support children with emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
  • Help create a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Track pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
  • SEN training or relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
