Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Schools across Wellingborough are seeking caring and resilient SEN Support Assistants to join their teams. If you're motivated by helping pupils with additional needs grow, progress and thrive, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.

⭐ About the Schools
We work closely with a range of inclusive schools across Wellingborough that place pupil wellbeing and tailored support at the heart of their approach. These settings provide structured, nurturing environments where SEN staff can make a meaningful impact. You’ll be part of dedicated teams helping students with SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an SEN Support Assistant, you’ll:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
• Support personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
• Assist with emotional regulation, communication and social development
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
• Promote consistency, routine and positive behaviour in the classroom

No two days are the same — each one offers the chance to help pupils build confidence, resilience and independence.

What We’re Looking For
• Patient, calm and reliable individuals
• A genuine passion for SEN support and child development
• Willingness to learn, including autism awareness and SEMH training
• Motivated by improving outcomes for young people
• Experience supporting people with SEN needs (school or non-school settings)

Desirable (but not essential)
• GCSE/O Level or equivalent
• A driving licence (useful for accessing certain school locations)
