SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist School (Rugby)
Location: Rugby
Contract: Ongoing Supply + Temp‑to‑Perm
Opportunities Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
About The Setting
We’re supporting a specialist school in Rugby that works with children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. The school is warm, structured, and highly supportive, with a strong focus on communication, independence, and personal development.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, or within the classroom
- Encouraging engagement, communication, and positive behaviour
- Assisting with structured learning and sensory‑based activities
- Providing personal care where required
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support teams
What We're Looking For
- Have experience supporting SEN/SEND pupils
- Are calm, patient, and resilient
- Can commit to supply work and respond to morning calls
- Are open to long‑term or temp‑to‑perm opportunities
- Work well as part of a supportive team
