About the role

• Support learners aged 16–25 with a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Provide academic support, pastoral care, and assist with personal care needs when required.
• Work in small groups and one‑to‑one settings, helping students build confidence, independence, and employability skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning programmes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Immediately available and ready to start once compliance is cleared.
• Experience supporting young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks.
• Resilient, empathetic, and committed to helping learners succeed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Willingness to complete compliance checks (DBS, references, training).
