A fantastic school in Batley is looking for a dedicated, patient and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a rewarding long‑term role working 1:1 with a student who has complex behavioural needs, providing consistent support throughout the entire school day

About the Role
  • Full‑time 1:1 support for a student with complex behavioural needs
  • Working closely with teaching staff, SENCO and external professionals
  • Helping the student regulate, engage and access learning
  • Providing structure, encouragement and calm, consistent guidance
  • Playing a key role in the student’s progress and wellbeing
⭐ What You’ll Need
  • Essential: Experience supporting students with complex behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis in a UK school within the last 2 years
  • Strong behaviour‑support skills and a nurturing, resilient approach
  • Ability to build trust, maintain boundaries and stay calm under pressure
  • A genuine passion for helping young people thrive
  • A team‑focused attitude and a commitment to safeguarding
