A fantastic school in Batley is looking for a dedicated, patient and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a rewarding long‑term role working 1:1 with a student who has complex behavioural needs, providing consistent support throughout the entire school day

About the Role

Full‑time 1:1 support for a student with complex behavioural needs
Working closely with teaching staff, SENCO and external professionals
Helping the student regulate, engage and access learning
Providing structure, encouragement and calm, consistent guidance
Playing a key role in the student’s progress and wellbeing

⭐ What You’ll Need

Essential: Experience supporting students with complex behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis in a UK school within the last 2 years
Strong behaviour‑support skills and a nurturing, resilient approach
Ability to build trust, maintain boundaries and stay calm under pressure
A genuine passion for helping young people thrive
A team‑focused attitude and a commitment to safeguarding
