SEN Teacher – Specialist Provision (Temporary Contract) – Preston

Your new role
You will be teaching pupils aged 11–19 with a range of complex needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD), autism spectrum conditions (ASC), and associated communication and sensory needs. The school provides a highly structured and nurturing environment, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning, life skills, and holistic development.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your students, working closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly ASC, MLD or SLD
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
