About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school community in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and academic growth of all students.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEN teaching strategies and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
