Contract Type: Long-Term Supply

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Qualification Required: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Swindon on a long-term supply basis.

About the Role:
You will be working with students with a range of special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons that inspire and support their individual learning journeys. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your skills and creativity will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews and reports.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
