Permanent SEN Teacher for ‘Raise Room’ at Killinghall Primary School starting September 2026.

Permanent SEN Teacher position based within Killinghall Primary School's Raise Room Provision

September start – Main Pay Scale We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and reflective teacher to lead learning in our Raise Room — a highly nurturing provision supporting up to 15 primary‑aged pupils with SEND, working within a 1:5 staff‑to‑pupil ratio.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and wants the time, space and support to do the job properly.
In the Raise Room, children benefit from:

- A calm environment focused on communication, regulation, independence and confidence.

- Has experience or a strong interest in SEND and inclusive practice.
- Can lead a provision with warmth, structure and clarity.
- Works confidently with families, SENCOs and external professionals.
- Understands both the challenges and deep rewards of SEND education
- Can assess children across developmental domains to inform support and EHCP processes.
- Brings humour, resilience and humanity to their work.
