About the Role:
- Autism (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Complex needs and communication difficulties
- Physical disabilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering tailored lessons that support individual learning needs
- Adapting teaching approaches to suit different abilities and EHCP targets
- Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and school leaders
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school‑based or alternative settings)
- Ability to differentiate effectively and manage diverse needs
- Strong communication, patience, and resilience
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
