Your new role
As an SEN teacher or teaching assistant with Hays, you will be provided with all the necessary information to ensure you are comfortable with the position you are in, with regular after-care check-ins, ongoing support from experienced consultants with experience within the education field, and continued support in growth and development in a range of areas.
This exciting role allows you to be flexible in deciding when, where and how often you work. You will have the opportunity to showcase your talents at some fantastic schools across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, and we aim to match you with the schools that suit you.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant qualifications
- Classroom experience within the last 5 years
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to undertake a DBS check
- Able to receive calls or texts at 7am about supply needed for that day
- Excellent and articulate communication skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for supporting and learning alongside SEN students
- Caring and empathetic with a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create an inclusive environment
