Hours: Full-time & Part-time roles available

We’re working with a vibrant primary school in Bristol to find dedicated and supportive KS2 Teaching Assistants who are passionate about guiding children through the key stages of their learning journey in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting KS2 pupils across a broad curriculum alongside class teachers

• Providing targeted one-to-one and small group support

• Encouraging independent learning and critical thinking

• Assisting children with additional needs to access learning effectively

• Helping with classroom organisation, displays, and admin tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to working with children aged 7–11

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience supporting children in KS2 (school or other settings) – desirable

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – a plus, but not essential

SEN Teaching Assistant – Easton, Bristol

Hours: Full‑time or part‑time

A welcoming primary school in Easton is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused 1:1 support. This role is ideal for someone with strong SEN experience who is passionate about helping pupils access learning in a supportive, structured environment.

Role Overview

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies
  • Encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation
  • Support classroom routines, transitions and small‑group work

Candidate Profile

  • Previous SEN experience is essential
  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and rapport‑building skills
  • Level 2/3 TA qualification advantageous
  • Driving licence beneficial
  • SEN training highly valued, including:
    • Understanding Autism
    • ADHD Awareness
    • Team Teach / De‑escalation Training
    • Trauma‑Informed Practice
    • BSL or communication‑based training
    • Makaton (highly desirable for supporting communication needs)
