SEN Home Support Worker

We are working on behalf of a charity who are working in partnership with a Birmingham Healthcare Trust to deliver a programme of work to children across the city.
The role will involve the following:
  • Working with children aged 3-18 who are autistic
  • Delivering a programme of support to parents and carers across Birmingham
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver a high-quality programme.
  • Responsibility for case note recording, contributing to case reports.
  • Supporting gathering of data and reports to show the impact of the Service on relevant stakeholders e.g. Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Barnardo’s, and other agencies as and when necessary.
Successful Candidates:
Due to the nature of the work and role, successful candidates will have a proven track record of the following:
  • Experience of working with children and families with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
  • Experience of delivery of group interventions, if possible, experience of delivering the Cygnet Programme.
  • Reporting, Recording, and capturing data, outcomes, and interventions for/with CYP.
  • Ability to work flexibly and creatively and independently.
