Job Title: SEN Primary School Teacher
Location: Primary School in Sefton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time / Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Primary School Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Sefton. This role involves working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, delivering tailored teaching and creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Implement and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to ensure progress and wellbeing.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. SEN-specific training is desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting is required.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
