About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering a personalised and engaging curriculum to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Working closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants and therapists, you’ll help each child reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Contribute to the wider school community and SEN development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with SEN (in mainstream or specialist settings)
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
