SEN Primary Teacher | Gloucester | September Start

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications (includes SEN allowance)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start date: September 2025

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Gloucestershire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles.
  • Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Work closely with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A nurturing, resilient, and reflective approach to teaching.
